DAILYKENN.com -- An arrest has been made for the 2011 murder of Jeremy Meldau.

From a 2011 news report:

Meldau's body was found late Tuesday night in this vacant apartment by his friend and co worker. The two men had apparently been doing construction work here earlier in the day. Police say the friend called 9-1-1 and a short time later, Meldau's death was confirmed. It appears from gunshot wounds to the head. Another 9-1-1 call had come in around 8, from a neighbor who said they heard four gun shots. Smith said, "We don't know for sure that was related. Unfortunately it's not that uncommon for gun shots to be reported in some of those areas." — wcjb.com
The victim was 26-years-old.

Arrested is 26-year-old Raymond Profit.

The crime occurred in Gainesville, Fla. and was reported Jan. 14, 2016.
