Why Racism is Wrong | Fatal Flaws of White Nationalism | Why White Supremacy is Wrong | Why Antisemitism Is Dumb

DAILYKENN.com -- Major P. Davis II is awaiting trial for the fatal shooting of an Indianapolis police officer.

While he waits, he is suing the deceased officer and the city of Indianapolis for millions of dollars.

Davis claims Officer Perry Renn shot him in the back while he was unarmed in an east side Indianapolis alley. The shooting occurred July 5, 2014.

“I don’t think this case has a chance in the world and I’m a defense lawyer,” said attorney Jack Crawford. Crawford isn’t connected to the case, but says the civil suit by Davis has no legal merit, which may be why Davis is serving as his own attorney. “No lawyer with any sense would represent him on this civil suit. That’s why he doesn’t have one,” said Crawford. — cbs4indy.com
It's unclear how Davis managed to shoot Renn if Davis were unarmed.
