DAILYKENN.com -- A police car's dashcam caught the moment of Florida sheriff's deputy was shot in the leg as he pursued a suspect.

Reports say 52-year-old Andrew Coffee was on a scooter when River County Sheriff pulled him over. Coffee has an extensive criminal record having served 21 years for attempted murder with a firearm. He was just released from prison a year and a half ago.

Coffee is seen on the video punching the officer, then fleeing. A gun battle ensued. The deputy was shot in the leg and Coffee was shot twice in the abdomen.
