An army soldier is now in custody, charged in the November 2014 murder of his wife on the Aliamanu Military Reservation.
Sources tell Hawaii News Now the so-called "other woman" has taken a plea deal, and on Wednesday, testified before the grand jury that Mike Walker was involved in his wife's murder.
Cathy Walker was found dead inside the couple's home on Morishige Lane. Her throat had been slashed.
From the very beginning, sources close to the investigation said they suspected a love triangle.
Months later, Ailsa "Lisa" Jackson was arrested for First Degree Murder. And because of her testimony Wednesday morning, Mike Walker was arrested later in the afternoon.
Court documents say he told Jackson where to find a key to their home the night of the murder. Jackson says she went in and stabbed Cathy Walker to death.
Sources say Walker had multiple affairs, with other women and men and that he didn't want to be married to her anymore. He also didn't think his wife, a devout Mormon, would be open to the idea of a divorce. Sources say the couple borrowed money from family to undergo invitro fertilization, but it didn't work.
