Jonathan Peden, 30, is accused of killing Holly Richardson. Robbery was the apparent motive.
Richardson was the mother of a 9-year-old girl.
The crime occurred in West Palm Beach, Fla.
• A rally was held in New York City this weekend to protest police brutality against black males. Rally speakers blamed white men as the root cause for cops shooting black thugs. No mention was made that 52.2 percent of homicides in America were committed by blacks, nearly all males ages 18 to 49 who comprise about four percent of the nation's population.

West Palm Beach police said they made an arrest Sunday night in connection with the 2014 fatal shooting of a 34-year-old single mother.
Jonathan Peden, 30, was arrested in the homicide of Holly Richardson , who was killed just over a year ago at Madeira Court and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
Richarsdon was found shot to death in her car Oct. 23, 2014, only a block from Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the mother of a 9-year-old girl.
Police say Peden, who was arrested on Oct. 6 in an unrelated case, gave a gun to someone who intended to rob Richardson. Then, after Richardson was shot and killed, Peden got rid of the gun, according to investigators.
Peden appeared before a judge Monday morning and was denied bond. He's charged with felony murder.
