The victims' naked bodies were found in hotels about a month apart. Both victims' bodies displayed “trauma to the neck area.”
Danclair says he doesn't know how they died. When he awoke they were dead, he said.
The victims are Chrissy Bevelaqua, 34, and Antoinette Marin, 43.
The crimes occurred in New York City and were reported Oct. 17, 2015.

A Brooklyn man charged with murdering two women in hotels says he doesn’t know how they died.
“I suffer from sleep apnea. We were at a hotel and I feel alseep. I woke up and they were dead,” Joseph Danclair told cops, according to court papers.
Danclair, 36, is charged with murdering 34-year-old Chrissy Bevelaqua, whose naked body was discovered inside the Bushwick Hotel on July 23, and Antoinette Marin, 43, whose naked body was found inside a hotel in Manhattan on Sept. 8. Cops have said both women had “trauma to the neck area.”
He pleaded not guilty to the Bevelaqua murder in Brookyn Supreme Court on Friday, where her relatives stared him down and shouted at him.
