Why Racism is Wrong | Fatal Flaws of White Nationalism | Why White Supremacy is Wrong | Why Antisemitism Is Dumb

September 13, 2015

DAILYKENN.com -- Torry Mashone Johnson pleaded guilty to first degree murder in connection to the death of a woman in 1997.

Vicky Ernest, 33, was found dead in her home nearly 20 years ago.

Johnson, 34, was 16 at the time of the murder. Also arrested and charged is Jason Lanell Rucker.

The teens apparently broke into their victim's home.

• White Americans have been convinced by the media that suspecting black teens in their neighborhood is an indication of deeply-held racist views. In reality suspecting black teens in the neighborhood -- such as Trayvon Martin -- is sensible.

52.2% of homicides in America were committed by blacks, nearly all by black males ages 18 to 49.

Had the neighbors of Vicky Ernest reacted instinctively and called authorities upon seeing two black teens wandering in their neighborhood, the 33-year-old woman may still be alive today.
