Shannon Jaruay Miles, 30, shot Darren H. Goforth 25 times in the back and back of the head.
Goforth is a recent casualty in a nationwide media campaign to vilify police officers as the bourgeois oppressors of America's black proletariat.
• The murder of Goforth is one of two recent black-on-white homicides that managed to pierce the national media's veil that hides such racist crimes from public view. The other was the recent execution of two white news reporters.
Blacks who kill whites are typically characterized as mentally ill while white who kill blacks are stigmatized as racists.
News reports say Miles has a criminal past.
• Anyone can cause anyone to hate anyone by accusing anyone of being a racist. The media has successfully stigmatized white police officers as racists.

In 2012, Mr. Miles was arrested in Austin on allegations of assaulting and seriously injuring a man at the Salvation Army shelter where he had been staying, the authorities said. He was accused of punching and kicking the man in a dispute over which television program to watch, and he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, officials said.
Mr. Miles was sent to a state mental hospital after an evaluation found him mentally incompetent to stand trial, said Joe Frederick, the Travis County assistant district attorney in the case. After a six-month stay, Mr. Miles was found competent to face prosecution, but the case was dismissed in 2013 when officials were unable to find the victim.
