Derek Cunningham, 15, and Corey Sandifer, 16, and Thomas Moss, 17, killed 42-year-old John Palmer 'J.P.' Shelley in 2013, authorities say.
Shelley -- a husband and father of two young children -- was fatally shot in the neck during a street robbery.
Sandifer was sentenced this week to 15 years in prison for his role in the crime and another 12 years for aggravated robbery.
The crime occurred in Memphis, Tenn.
• It is interesting to observe that white victims of black crime often respond with compassion, white blacks rage after one of their own is killed in self defence.
• Rather than rage against black-on-white racism, Shelley's wife has been working with troubled teens through an organization called Juvenile Intervention and Faith-Based Follow-Up.
When Michael Brown was fatally shot in self defense, the black community responded by rioting. When Trayvon Martin was fatally shot in self defense, his parents didn't involve themselves in a program to rescue white Hispanic males from working as neighborhood-watch volunteers. Rather, parlayed their circumstances into a profitable road show.
• The predatory left contends with the contrast between three village-raised street thugs and the all-American white family by evoking the myth of white privilege.
By pretending that white Americans have an unfair advantage over "people of color," the left invents nonsensical, mind-bending techniques such as the "It's not fair" project that attacks fair-skinned people as having an unfair advantage. "White privilege" was concocted to run interference with the reality that non-whites are given unfair advantages to remedy what Marxism deems social and economic injustices.

A second teenager has entered a guilty plea for the murder of a Memphis contractor.
Corey Sandifer, 18, was sentenced to 15 years in prison without the possibility of parole as well as 12 years for aggravated robbery.
The sentences will be served together.
In August, Derek Cunningham Jr., pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and aggravated robbery in the case and was sentenced to 30 years in prison with no parole.
In October of 2013, Cunningham and Sandifer robbed J.P. Shelley and another man in the 4700 block of Scottsdale Avenue in Parkway Village.
During the robbery, Cunningham shot the victim in the neck, killing him.
Thomas Moss is also charged in the case.
WREG sat down with Shelley's wife, Beverly, after Sandifer plead guilty. She believes the young men need to pay for what they have done, but she said the idea of them going to prison does not make her happy.
"I think a lot of these kids just come from such bad situations in their own family, and they just don't know where else to turn," Shelley said.
Both Cunningham and Sandifer have juvenile court records. Shelley said she wished there has been interventions in their lives before her husband's death.
She has begun working with an organization that accepts juvenile court referrals of kids with multiple offenses, called JIFF (Juvenile Intervention and Faith-Based Follow-Up).
Shelley said her two kids are participating in a fundraiser to help JIFF help more troubled youth.
