Reports say the elderly man suffered "significant" blunt force trauma to his head.
Arrested for the murder is 17-year-old D'Angelo Matthews. The suspect was 16 years old at the time of the murder.
Two others, 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, are also charged with the murder.
Authorities say the robbery and murder was a spur-of-the-moment random crime. They spotted Brown as they were driving by and decided to rob him, apparently because he was white and vulnerable.
Brown was killed July 29, 2015 at about 5:30 a.m.

Western innovation -- particularly healthcare -- has literally saved the lives of millions of blacks worldwide. Black Americans, however, are convinced they are victims of white oppression.
They are taught to be hateful rather than grateful.
