Why Racism is Wrong | Fatal Flaws of White Nationalism | Why White Supremacy is Wrong | Why Antisemitism Is Dumb

DAILYKENN.com -- Officer Sean Bolton, 33, was shot dead Saturday night in Memphis, Tennessee.

Authorities have named Tremaine Wilbourn, 29, as the suspect in the shooting.

Wilbourn was sitting in an illegally parked Mercedes Benz when Bolton approached the vehicle.

• How tragic that a black American is so oppressed that he must drive a used Mercedes Benz.

• The predatory left -- including #BlackLivesMatter -- should be consider complicit in the murder by inciting hatred for white police officers.

Armstrong said Bolton saw the car and shined his squad car's spotlight on the vehicle.

Bolton then got out of his car and walked toward the Mercedes, Armstrong said.

Wilbourn got out of the Mercedes, confronted Bolton, and they got into a physical struggle, according to Armstrong.

The suspect then took out a gun and fired it, striking Bolton multiple times, Armstrong said.

He was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition before he later died.

Wilbourn and the driver then ran away, Armstrong said. The driver later turned himself in to police, and police described him as a person of interest in the case before he was released without being charged.
