James A. Flannery was working to support his family as a pizza delivery man after being laid off from his job.
The victim was lured into an ambush by Jalen Dewain Hughes, 13, and Sir Jeffrey Scott Carroll, 18.
• Jalen Hughes is younger than George Stinney Jr. who, in 1944, became the youngest person to be executed for murder in the U.S. at the age of 14. Some apologists for violent black crime say no one that young could commit murder.

The Papa John's deliveryman had been called out to the East Side address around 10:30 p.m. on July 30, the night Carroll celebrated his birthday, police said.
Flannery, whose brother described him to the Columbus Dispatch as working day and night to get by after being laid off last winter, was robbed before being shot once.
He then drove two miles before crashing his car. He was pronounced dead just minutes later at a local hospital.
Police traced the phony order back to Carroll through a texting application and a social media account which he allegedly used to place the order, the Dispatch reported.
He was arrested Tuesday and on Thursday, the same day as Hughes' arrest, was ordered held on $2 million bail.
