DAILYKENN.com -- Jaman Parish was sentenced to spend the rest of his life in a gate community with free health care, food, shelter, and clothing without the possibility of parole.

Parish was sentenced for the brutal murder and home invasion of 34-year-old Brent Luttrell.

The crime occurred September 8, 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Luttrell, 34, fled the house and was then dragged into the suspects’ car, at which point he was stabbed and shot multiple times, dumped in the road, and left to die.

Parish and five others were arrested about a month later.

Christopher Duncan, who investigators say masterminded the plot to break into Luttrell’s home, has already pleaded guilty to his role in the crime and was sentenced to prison.

Suspect Zachary Bennett — who faces charges of armed robbery, home invasion and conspiracy to commit home invasion — was expected to reach to a plea agreement and has already testified against the other defendants.

The three other suspects — Kevin Berry, Isaac Fezzey and Tyler Rohn — are awaiting trial.
