The Southern University Police Department has arrested 12 individuals after a video of a brawl and shots being fired on campus went viral on social media, according to WBRZ. The brawl that reportedly took place late Tuesday night on March 31 involving nearly 20 people on the north end of campus. Ed Pratt, a spokesman for Southern University, told the TV station that police have identified 11 students and one non-student in the video. At first, university officials thought it was an April Fool's Day prank, but soon learned it was an actual brawl.
