His military-style haircut was a distraction, they said.
Apparently school administrators believe that a seven-year-old with a shaved head is not a distraction.
Adam Stinnett's mother explained that he preferred the military haircut because his older brother is serving in Afghanistan.
The administration retorted, "Well, we're not a military school and that it has to be cut or he cannot return to school until it is."
Ironically Adam attends Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary School in McMinnville, Tennessee that was named after a local soldier who was killed in Viet Nam.
