|The success of intelligent blacks in the|
1940s and 1950s proves that white racism
is an exaggerated leftist concoction.
Tuskegee Airman Chuck Stone was accepted at Harvard University but opted, instead, to attend Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
Stone died this week at the age of 89 after a long and, we presume, well-paid career as a noted journalist.
Please explain how it is possible for a black man to be enrolled in Wesleyan University in the 1940s; a time when the nation was steeped in white racism. Blacks, we are told, were routinely denied access to higher education opportunities. That is the excuse used to explain the economic disparity between blacks and whites. The thought that a black man could be accepted at Harvard is unconscionable.
Please explain how Chuck Stone was an unswerving advocate for diversity when he co-founded the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). It's difficult to imagine anything less diverse than an professional affinity group established exclusively for members of one race. An association that is diverse is inclusive, not exclusive.
Is it possible that 1940s America was not steeped in racial discrimination? Could it be the nation's discrimination was color blind? That prospective students were evaluated on merit rather than ethnicity? That today's Affirmative Action and color quota system is racist? Could it be that colleges were mostly white for the same reason NBA teams are mostly black?
Please explain why the all-black colored baseball leagues of the 1920s are considered relics of racism while the all-black NABJ is highly esteemed. Could it be that colored baseball leagues allowed for all-white leagues, while the NABJ does not necessitate an NAWJ? Isn't that racist? Is racism considered an exclusive franchise of white people? If so, isn't that racist?
Could it be that the stellar career of Chuck Stone proves that allegations of white racism is a false positive; evidence of a social scam to advance cultural and economic Marixsm?
