Night of celebration turns deadly for Terrytown husband, father

It was supposed to be a celebration. Terrytown husband and father Bowie Richard, a rapper/songwriter known by the stage name "Yung Kaptin," was out with friends early Saturday morning (Jan. 18) to toast the night's successful performance.

No one expected the night to end with Richard, 21, shot dead following a heated exchange with a man inside The Edge Sports Bar & Daiquiris, 2151 Lapalco Blvd., Harvey. Stunned relatives said his death wasn't motivated by drugs or troublemaking. It was an unimaginably senseless murder that began as a quarrel with a stranger.

"It has nothing to do with any of that," Richard's mother, Tammy Duhon, 44, said Sunday afternoon. "He was just out celebrating."

Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the gunman as Devin Bonilla, 24, of Marrero. He is wanted on a warrant for second-degree murder, said Col. John Fortunato, spokesman for the department.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in the presidential election by a margin of about 230,000. Brexit regret? Major indexes reveal the stock market has effectively recovered after a three-day, post Brexit dip.

Were the English to suggest taking back control of London, they would promptly be labeled 'racists' and eviscerated as Nazis. Racism has reared its ugly head in Manchester, England. Two white males were accused of saying something unkind to a non-white migrant; presumed to be a Muslim. Obviously, Brexit has unleashed a torrent of demonic white racism. Meanwhile in the same city, two thugs — one obviously black — beat a bus driver for ten minutes. The two were asked to leave the bus after failing to come up with cash for the fare. The media saw no racism in the attack nor did they tie the violence to the Stay vote against Brexit.

Ever notice how the media/globalists fret over the temporary economic blowback in the UK after Brexit — but didn't care about the permanent blowback in South Africa after apartheid? — 2016-06-26
