Obamas mark holidays with cookies and cocoa
By Emily Goodin
The White House is getting into the holiday spirit with cookies, music and a tree.
Michelle Obama will welcome the official White House Christmas tree to the executive mansion on Friday.
The 18.5-foot Douglas Fir will be on display in the Blue Room.

"The kids tease me that they know it’s Christmas when I pull out my playlist," she told the magazine, according to the New York Daily News.
And one tradition she keeps from childhood is having family members perform to collect small presents.
"I’ve hula-hooped, done a dog trick with Bo and read poems,” she said. "The kids will sing or put on plays. The president and some of the other dads will get together and do a song."
