Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Stephen J. Sedensky III released the final report of the Dec. 14 events in which Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother, himself and 20 children and six educators in Newtown.
No motive was found and no one was charged.
The tragedy served as an impetus that moved liberal minds and opened liberal mouths who exploited the crisis to demand an abandon of the Constitution's Second Amendment.
Ignored by liberals and seldom mention by the liberal media is this fact: In the 25 deadliest mass shootings since 1965 in the United States, a total of nearly 350 people lost their lives. Venues have ranged from school to theaters to work places.
Such events grab headlines for weeks and pull on our emotions that turn our minds to find solutions. Gun control advocacy is a natural but flawed remedy.
Over the same five decades thousands -- perhaps tens of thousands -- of lives have been saved by hand guns.

MILLER: What would have prevented Lanza from mass murder at Sandy Hook?

We cannot understand how the Sandy Hook Elementary School victims’ families feel. But Adam Lanza’s horrifying mass murder in Newton, Conn. almost a year ago remains an unresolved pain in the hearts of many Americans.
We search for something to blame in order to get closure from both getting justice and acting to prevent a similar tragedy. Unfortunately, that answer remains elusive.
On Monday, Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Stephen J. Sedensky III released the final report of the Dec. 14 events in which Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother, himself and 20 children and six educators in Newtown.
Mr. Sedensky closed the investigation without charging anyone or finding a motive for the crimes.
